Pedro the Lion

Pedro the Lion foi uma banda de indie rock formada em 1995 em Seattle, por David Bazan. Indie rock cristão? Bem, David Bazan é certamente "devoto", mas não prega em suas canções uma vida limpa ou dedicada a Jesus, ele tem uma relação com a fé que é honesta e realista; São adeptos mais ao indie que ao cristianismo. Ao longo da carreira, a banda mudou muitas vezes sua formação, mas Bazan permaneceu o músico principal, cantando e tocando todos os instrumentos durante os dois primeiros ábuns, It's Hard to Find a Friend (1998) e Winners Never Quit (2000), contando somente com Casey Foubert (parceiro fiel) no baixo, percussão e teclados. A banda teve seu fim em 2005, apartir dai Bazan resolveu reunir seus projetos (Pedro The Lion, David Bazan e Headphones) tocando todos sob seu próprio nome. Bom e velho indie-rock :)
