Winter People

Winter People é uma banda nascida em Sydney (Austrália). Trazem em sua composição: Dylan Baskind (vocal), Justin Zeltzer (Guitarra), Alex Coroneo (Violino), Daniel Ferguson (Baixo), Jane Andrews (Vocal e Violino) e Alex Robinson (Bateria). Lançaram seu primeiro álbum de estúdio, o “A Year At Sea”, em Setembro de 2012 e contaram com o contribuição de uma lista de especialistas renomados neste processo - na gravação: Tim Whitten (Augie March, The Go-Betweens), na produção: Peter Katis (Interpol, The National, Frightened Rabbit) e na mixagem: Rich Costey (The Shins, Foster The People, Bloc Party) - resultando em um álbum repleto de textura, humor e balanço. Tentam fugir do 'indie padrão' oferecido e insistem em cumprir a meta de alcançar algo mais autêntico e encantador. Combinam post-rock + folk music, criando assim a mistura do novo ao velho mundo em harmonias agradáveis, grandiosas e emocionais.

Aereogramme

Aereogramme foi uma excelente banda escocesa formada em Abril de 1998, na cidade de Glasgow. Composta por Craig B. (vocalista, guitarra), Iain Cook (guitarra), Campbell McNeil (baixo) e Martin Scott (bateria). Iniciaram sua carreira dentro dos fundamentos do alternative / post-rock; mas como acontece com muitas bandas do gênero, foram progressivamente sofrendo uma evolução que os levou ao : "My Heart Has a Wish That You Would Not Go", o ábum mais promissor e ao mesmo tempo último registro da banda antes da separação em 2007. Eles lançaram 4 álbuns : A Story in White (2001), Sleep and Release (2003), Seclusion (2004) e My Heart Has a Wish That You Would Not Go (2007). Recomendo que comecem pelo "My Heart Has a Wish That You Would Not Go" que pra mim certamente é o melhor (já que os outros álbuns são bem diferente desse). Grande banda.
