Matt Pond PA

Matt Pond PA é uma banda indie formada na Filadélfia, Pensilvânia em 1998 pelo cantor / compositor Matt Pond, juntamente com o Josh Kramer, Rosie McNamara-Jones, Jim Hostetter e Sean Byrne. Matt Pond é o único membro remanescente original. Eles ganharam reconhecimento logo de cara, com o cd ''Deer Apartments'' (1998). Matt Pond PA é comparado com o Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Nickel Creek, Youth Group, Mae, Keane, Guster, Dios Malos, Neko Case, Straylight Run, e Liz Phair. A banda foi incluída na trilha sonora do programa de televisão The OC, onde cantam versões do Oasis "Champagne Supernova" e do Neutral Milk Hotel's "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea''. A partir do fim de 2007, a formação da banda consiste em Matt Pond (voz e guitarra), Dan Crowell (bateria), Steve Jewett (guitarra), Mateus Daniel Siskin (baixo), e Chris Hansen (teclados, guitarra e voz).
