O Death from Above 1979 é uma dupla canadense de stoner rock/electro. A formação era de Jesse F. Keelerno baixo/sintetizador e Sebastien Grainger nos vocais e na bateria. Eles conseguiram provar que não são necessárias três pessoas para se formar uma banda de rock, e que um guitarrista é totalmente dispensável. Som divertido, dançante... Pena que acabou.
