Mother Mother

Mother Mother teve início em 2005; situada em Vancouver, Canadá. É composta atualmente por Ryan Guldemond (guitarra e vocais), Molly Guldemond (vocais e teclado), Jasmin Parkin (teclado e vocais), Ali Siadat (bateria) e Jeremy Page (baixo). Em 2005, lançaram seu primeiro álbum de forma totalmente independente, auto-intitulado "Mother". Mais tarde em 2007, mudaram o nome da banda para "Mother Mother", e re-lançaram o álbum pelo selo Last Gang Records, este contou com a produção de Redekopp Howard (que também trabalhou com The New Pornographers e Tegan and Sara). O segundo álbum, "O My Heart", foi lançado em 16 de Setembro de 2008. Mother Mother pode nos remeter por vezes a bandas como B-52’s, Pretenders e Scissor Sisters devido a suas excelentes vocalizações, mas se diferencia muito devido a seu excelente trabalho de instrumentalização das músicas. A quem diga que se tratam de uma mistura Indie-Pop, Rock, Folk e Punk. Digo que vale muito a pena conferir. Super super lindo! *-*

Winter Gloves

Winter Gloves é uma banda canadense de Indie-Pop/Rock. Composta por Charles F. (Vocal e Sintetizadores), Wurlitzer (Teclado), Vincent Chalifour (Baixo e Sintetizadores), Patrick Sayers (Bateria) e Nico Ormiston (Guitarras). Já lançaram dois albuns, ambos pelo selo Paper Bag Records; o primeiro intitulado "About A Girl" lançado de 2008 e o mais recente "All Red" lançado em setembro de 2010. Eles fazem uma mistura indie-pop/rock, synth-pop oitentista e electro. Em resumo, se você gosta de músicas rápidas, simples e muito sintetizador, então provavelmente vai adorar Winter Gloves.
